Join us for a walk through the wildflowers of the proposed Chuckwalla National Monument! You'll get to see the peak of the spring bloom happening right now in the Eastern Coachella Valley (ECV), and learn about why this area has been proposed as a National Monument.
All are welcome, regardless of their hiking experience level. Expect a round trip distance of between two to three (2-3) miles. Walks are free and bilingual. Space is limited - register today!
Wildflower walk dates:
Friday, March 29
Saturday, March 30
Saturday, April 06
We will monitor the weather before the hike and may cancel due to extreme weather such as flash flooding or thunderstorms. However, the walk will continue in light rain.
Don't forget to bring your camera to capture the experience, and tag us @protectcadesert, @cactustocloud, @cofemcv, @rsb.cnps when you share your hike.
